Cookies for Widows

This past Monday's FHE was a cookie delight. Following last week's flour frenzy, a more cooking-centric sort of event sprouted from the combined efforts of our YSA Branch.

Elder Foxworth (pictured above) gave instructions as the rest of us learned just what goes in to these delicious home-baked cookies. We all took turns baking and churning, until finally we arrived at a deliciously-smelling result (and I say smelling because, of course, the cookies were meant for our service project recieve-es! Not to say there weren't a few leftovers in the end).

Even the sisters dropped in for a short bit!
Why call them cookies when they're baked?

After cooking up a few batches, many prepared to head out and deliver our treats to those who needed and deserved them. The journey came with a few side quests, as you'll see below:

Is that a horse? Of course!

As always, make sure you tune in next time for more FHE goodness! We do them every week on Mondays, usually between 6 and 7 PM (and if you want to be notified on the day by text, check out the remind social link in the upper right hand corner of the website! You can join the list to get the details). Also keep an eye out for Relief Society and Elders Quorum events upcoming, as well as potential Service projects. Our branch is spicing things up on the site, so you wouldn't want to miss it.

Have a wonderful week!
